Where was Kate Sheppard born?-

In Liverpool,England in 1847.

The Weeknd

 Hello everyone,

Today I am going talk about what we are doing in our music hurumanu about Famous Musicians. I picked The Weeknd because his songs are catchy and they are such nice songs to listen to when you are doing something else other than listening to music etc... Gaming, Working. So here is a little bit of work I did about him...

Name:The Weeknd AKA Abel Makkonen Tesfaye
Age:31
Decade popular: Still Popular
Genre:R&B/Soul
The Weeknds most famous songs are:
1.Blinding Lights
2.StarBoy
3.The Hills
4.Can’t Feel My Face
5. Earned It

How the Weeknd got famous:He got his start by releasing music anonymously online.
In 2010, Abel uploaded a few songs to YouTube anonymously. He posted his music under the name “The Weeknd,” which would become the name under which he rose to fame.

A challenge The Weeknd had to overcome: Dropping out, and leaving his family was one of the most difficult decisions he has made, because he would be separated himself from his family, and becoming independent and raising himself, which is a lot to take on at such a young age.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post and reading about The Weeknd, Bye

How cars changed the world

 Hello everyone,

Today I am going to talk about how cars changed the world and how they helped people with getting around and helping other people getting around too so here is the blog-

How cars changed the world-
1. Change the title of the text but make sure it is still a suitable title yet an interesting title.
The past of cars and how they changed the world

2. State what ‘Genre’ the text is. Is it a play, story, article etc?

I think this is an article because this happened about 120 years ago when cars arrived in New zealand. The owner of the car that arrived in Wellington on February 19 1898 was a guy named willam Mclean. William then took the mayor of willington for a drive and it was going smoothly until he lost control and drove right into a fence. That was the first car crash New zealand witnessed.
3. List the Author/s and Illustrator/s of the text.

Bronwen Wall
4. In a paragraph, write a short synopsis/review of what it was about.

Cars helped everyone at that time and still does, People started importing cars from different countries to help them in life. In 1901 a man was caught driving over the speed limit of 6km hour along lincoln road in Christchurch. People also built their own cars too because people were also smart back then too.

Super bike

 Hello everyone,

Today I am going to talk about the first super bike invented by John Britten. that he made at home from scratch So here is the blog post-

The Super bike Invented by John Britten

Comprehension Questions

What was the name of the first bike John Britten made at home? Britten V1000,

The Britten V1000 is a handbuilt race motorcycle designed and built by John Britten and a group of friends in Christchurch, New Zealand during the early 1990s

2.How long would it take John to build a go-kart?

In about 3 weeks.

What did he build them out of?

He would use wood boxes and take boxes apart from his dad's garage and he would also use wood and nails. Everytime he made a go-kart he would use different parts like seats, steering wheels and roofs.

3.What does John have trouble with?

Everything with the britten bike wasn't easy to put it together and to do all these things to make it function properly  but the new machine that uses a computer to make it work helps out. He is also not the best at reading. He forgets words and he's not the best with reading them too.

4. What type of car did John design when he was 12? A motorized go-kart made out of material’s that he can use from his dad’s bike shop and when he was twelve he had saved up enough to get the motor for the go-kart, So he was pretty entelegent even at a young age

Bird mask

Hello everyone, Today I am going to talk about about bird mask for my drama topic

I am going to make goose looking mask for my mask and I am going to need

1. paper,red, orange, yellow

2.elastic x2

3. red orange and red paper

I cut out a oval shape on the orange paper then cut two holes in the oval shape to make a shape for the eyes to look out.

For the red paper I am going cut then out into red leaves then maybe hot glue or just glue to the orange front mask.

For the yellow paper ill cut it out with a little bump at the front and make it into a beck shape to make it look like a bird beck. Then put holes through the top and bottom of the beck
